Engaged Sustainability

Designing thriving communities

The programme

By on May 21, 2016

Inspired by Gaia Education

Engaged sustainability is inspired by the Ecovillage Design Education program (EDE) from Gaia Education, a 4 week intensive programme that has been running successfully for over 10 years. It teaches a holistic approach to redesigning our human communities, and is an official contribution to the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development.A shorter version of the EDE is now offered to people that are working or studying in or around London, and will take place over the course of 4 weekends. The learning space is creative, interactive and engaging, and nothing like the classroom you may know.

Who is it for?

Social entrepreneurs, students of sustainability degrees, permaculture designers, social workers, anyone with a real interest in gaining skills to design a better society, transition to more sustainable patterns of production and consumption, and lead a more meaningful, happier and healthier life.

Certification

You will receive a certificate with the official ‘Inspire by Gaia Education’ stamp upon completion of the programme, or for the individual weekends of your choice if you can’t attend all of them.
