The community weekend
Saturday 27 to Monday 29 Aug, 2016
Your facilitators are Michel Thill and Inge Kuijper
This weekend is all about group dynamics, communication and leadership. We will spend two days and two nights (Saturday and Sunday night) at the beautiful Quadrangle Trust in an idyllic setting in the Darent Valley of Kent. Here we will get to know each other and learn to create a common vision for a collective project. How to establishing common agreements, deal with conflict, and find consensus in a group.
We will also expand more on the ecovillage movement, on which this programme is built. We will introduce a short daily meditation practice to increase our self awareness and intuition. Please note this weekend starts Saturday morning and ends Monday morning after breakfast.
We will spend Saturday and Sunday nights at the Quadrangle Trust, a large Victorian model farmstead built in 1870 near Shoreham in Kent. The Shepherd’s Barn is our home for the weekend, a two-storey barn with kitchen & living room and dormitory. The garden runs down through an orchard to the River Darent and a field and small woodland beyond. It’s setting in the valley is extraordinarily rural and peaceful. in the Darent Valley of Kent, only a 40 minutes train ride from central London.
